Basically I've been writin off and on since I was about 12...I didn't really start keepin a rhymebook until the new millennium rolled around....It's been a SLOW process, but my artistry grows sharper and more multi-layered everytime I complete a bar... For a minute, shit kinda blew up for me outta nowhere in late 2002...The reason for this is because I got on the number 1 radio morning show in Northern California and outdid the competition in a freestyle battle...
I started getting calls from hella producers...One of those producers actually works for Aftermath Record's production team...He was in Atlanta at the time and I was broke with no access to a decent studio...Same scenario happened with a hott production team out of Florida...Bein broke with no resources didn't really do shit to motivate me...But writin rhymes is like constantly solving a neverending puzzle...It's that challenge that kept me writing until now...
Fortunately, I've been gettin more studio time and my circle of contacts is growing...Who knows if anything will ever happen with this rap shit? I just love the music. Creating and performing it gets addicting, especially when you notice significant progress. One things for sure, you'll get some of my best lyrics when tragedy impacts my life, when I feel threatened, and most definitely when I'm pissed off. I welcome all battle emcees and "diss" tracks as well. I don't mind sparring. Yao Ming?Have you performed in front of an audience?Yup...The Bay Area so far...
