Band/artist history
Javier Casal, artistically named "JAZZT", was born in 1965 in Galicia, Spain. Beginning at the age of seven, he studied at the school of music in Vigo for even years. Earlier on, he played in local bands, first he played synths on a punk project called "Supermiembro", then later played bass and guitars in a pop band "Callos Louriña" where he recorded his first album called "Mi chica es Droga." In 1991 he found the blues band: "Dr.Hello," and played in many local clubs during the next nine years. Two albums were released with this band,"Blues and Rythm & Blues de Canteras, Vol.I" edited by Cambayá Records in 1994 and "Its a very good time for the Blues tonight" by Xurelo Roxo Records in 1996. In 2000 JazzT started to produce for other bands and also his own music. In 2002, JazzT experimented with electronic music for fist time and decided to open a web site on mp3.com to showcase his music. In this new way he is making remixes from Deep house to progressive style, to finally producing Nu Jazz and lounge music.
