We are a punk band from Georgetown Ont. We haven't been together all that long, only about a year. I'm amazed at how quickly things are coming together for us. Learning new songs happens very quickly. I'd say the longest it's taken to learn a new song is maybe 20 minutes. As you can tell our style of music is very much like Green Day. I've been listening to them since they came out so I guess their music has rubbed off on me when I write these songs. There is only 3 of us in the band and I'd like to keep it that way. I find that a lot of bands out there that have 4 or more people tend to have more arguements n' stuff.Band/artist history
We don't really have a history since we've only been playing for almost a year. All of us at one point worked in the same place and thats how we decided to get together. Our drummer Alex and the base player Bob both are in to different styles of music. Me? Well I'm your typical punk with an apathetic attitude...lol. Bob is more in to psychadelic type stuff and Alex is in to Santana style of music. So when I suggested to them to play punk music they weren't sure but said what the hell. Now what you hear is what you get. Some of the songs we have we weren't exactly sure about.... On Your Own was a song I wrote years ago. I started playing at my drummers house one day and he put this really gay beat to it and we thought omg, this is too funny. So we didn't bother cause we didn't think it would turn out to be anything worth useing so we basically played it just to amuse ourselves. Then Bob our base player came around and now we actually use that song. lol. Everytime we play it though, we still laugh our asses off......Have you performed in front of an audience?We haven't really played anywhere to tell you the truth. We've just spent most of our time jamming and coming up with new material. yeah, we'd like to start playing places and honestly I don't know why we haven't started yet. It's almost like we are waiting for something but don't know what it is.....
Your musical influences
Well, for me personally, I am stuck hugely on Green Day. My drummer is in to Santana type stuff and my base player is more psychadelic.What equipment do you use?
