Jay Curtman has been singing Southern Gospel Music for as long as he can remember. As a young child he learned that he had an ear for picking out old hymns and standards on the piano and soon afterward he developed an interest in the guitar. Jay is not only a singer / songwriter but also a former youth director.Band/artist history
Born in St. Louis, MO in 1970. The son of a Baptist preacher. Jay is a former police chief.Have you performed in front of an audience?I use tracks that I create at Curtman Music Studio. Some songs I play live.

His major influences are Jake Hess, Gary McSpadden, The Cathedrals, The Happy Goodmans and many others.What equipment do you use?

Hello Jay,
One week you and I were both featured on DJ Happy's station and I was listening to the shows and I herd a song that made me laugh a deep gut laugh. I had to go check out who it was and what the name was. Well come to find out it was one of your songs and gosh I think the title had something to do with meat and pies. I can't remember the title exactly but what a keeper that song is!
I knew that the first chance I got I would come on over and let you know just how great that one is!!
I have listened to some of your other songs and am very impressed with them.
