Hey people. My name is Jackson Cassidy a.k.a " JAXXBEATZ ", and im a beatmaker from New Zealand slowly creeping into the game.
I started out in the beatmaking scene around the start of 2007 with a laptop, midi keyboard and a seriously expired version of Cubasis vst version 5 ( Gotta start somewhere! Lol. ) and have been going hard eversince.
In terms of what kind of beats I make, I kind of just roll with what im feelin at the time. Like all beatmakers I suppose. But I mainly get into the RnB beats, Club Banging beats and I pull out a Sample beat now and then. I also get into the whole Crunk Durty South styles aswell.

My musical influences would have to be - Emotions, Feelings, Artists such as Timbaland, Pharrell, Dre, Mysto and Pizzi, R-Kelly, Snoop Dogg, Lil John, Scott Storch, Beyonce, Rihanna, Chris Brown, Neyo, Aaliyah, Pitbull, and finally every producer that has made me say " Gyeah I like this sh*t right hurr!!".What equipment do you use?
