This is the jazz standard "Afro Blue." This band is a steel drum band I was in in high school, I just found this old recording and decided to put it up here. I had only been playing for about two and a half years when this was recorded.

This is the first "complete" song I've ever written. It's extremely rough and sloppy, combined with the crappy recording technique I use, making not sound so great. But this is just for reference purposes. My band may do this song.

This is the first MIDI sequence I ever made. I did it as an assignment for my music class. I did something wrong while converting it to audio, though, so it's really quiet.. turn your speakers up :)

This is something I came up with one day while messing around. At the time it had the two main parts, and then I improvised a part between them and an ending. It's really sloppy, partly because I've never done much chordal stuff on my 8-string.

The first riff I ever wrote using a double-thumb. It's sloppy, I know, but I like it. I'm in the process of writing a complete song around it. I slow it down later only to show what I was playing to my band, not because the tempo actually changes.

While recording one day, I decided to do something with my electric unplugged. I kinda liked how it came out.

I need to re-record this; it's pretty old and sounds much better now. This is a song my band uses as an intro - it starts slow, and we all improvise over the slow part for a few minutes, then we all stop and I go into the slap part, and we just jam.
