ambient breakbeat meets faraisha musics vocal talent

Breakbeat

Hello everyone, In the next couple of weeks I shall be uploading 4-5 brand new songs which you will be welcome to download for free. All songs are written, performed and produced by Jam Science.(runners-up in the I'm a twat to operastars who've got idol talent factors) The Jam Science music uses everything from heavy metal thru triphop, ambient and electro-dance-house-techno-waltz-blues-trance-rap-swing-orchestral-breakbeat-baroque styles. The influences are as diverse as talkingheads, korn, zappa, eno, slipnot, king crimson, laurie anderson, pendulum, system of a down, robert palmer, james last, massive attack, moby and stephen hawking.
Band/artist history
Originally starting playing career as a drummer, I have moved on to playing a whole range of instruments equally as bad. Unhampered by talent, I have fuddled and blagged my way around the world, now finally playing as Jam Science around Europe. I was a key part of many bands through 80's and 90's, mainly in the rock/tea-making genre.I have based myself in spain for the last few years where i'm still known as estrella oscura(work it out!) I have my own little solar-powered studio where I live part-time in Spain. moving to session playing for various dubious characters and writing and composing across many genres
Have you performed in front of an audience?
Mainly in Europe, i.e. Berlin, Paris and various cities in Spain. To assist me live, I bring in various itinerent reprobates with the promises of untold wealth and free booze in return for their musical prowess. Usually works until the vol-aux-vents run out!
Your musical influences
pink floyd, led zep, moby, robert palmer, king crimson, banco de gaia, frank zappa, korn. talking heads, david sylvian, sakamoto, pondering the significance of pre-Popper Hegelianism, relatavistic to the fleeting ephemera of a butterfly's wing brushing against the cheek of temporal chaos.(awright! giggidygiggidy)
What equipment do you use?
apple macbook, imac, novation bits and bobs, spirit mixing desk, tanglewood bass, gibson les paul custom, pearl drums, sontronics mics, nissan micra(s-reg), slumberland matress with memory-foam pillows, fake timex astrolab 7 day watch, brown hush puppies size 9, a number of lightly used tesco carrier bags. My software I use is; logic, ableton, bias peak, simms2. FBI database, Wii-fit.
Anything else?
A lifetime of self-doubt, paranoia, persecution complexes, under-achievement, frustration and incompetance have been carefully crafted into making Jamscience what it is today.... a melifluous blanket of turgid muse spreading like fungal bacteria between the toes of popular music. A brief but cacophanous foray into the maelstrom of tortured rhythms;.. Pop Benedict XV111zzz ; Heavy element weekly.
