Okay, this just isn't fair! I just finished listening to the "Carol of the Bells" and I loved it. Then I came upon "Sandbar Cafe" and I saw that you played alto sax and keyboards. I totally expected the sax to be some cheesy midi patch but it's the REAL deal and you sound great!!!
Just not fair having all that talent, I mean great piano and great sax!
Come on now :-)
Peace,
JP
I'm not being frivilous with the stars, boys....very, very, nice job!
This song has the same exact feel as "How Can I Make You (Tell Me You Love Me)... ie rhythm etc...even the hint o' country...well this song has more than a hint..
A really well done full band recording was produced about 15 years ago at RoundHouse Studio (Wolcott). All I have left of it now is part of the song on a mangled tape.
What would I have to give Joe to play guitar(s) and sing background vocals??!!! ooohhhhh!
Great song - commercially viable as well (referring to "You Won't See Me Again"
...why is our good stuff stuck in cyberspace and all the rest of the garbage is getting airplay and generating lotsa dough!!!
This is the kinda stuff that i listen to on the 'sounds of the seasons' channel on the tele when i'm in the mood (or need to be inspired). This song does that for me! All around 5 star production.
Thanks Al! Funny too, that song was really an experiment to see how the sounds in the plug-ins would work together!! Who knew?!
