Here's my take of SRV's tone on his track "Crossfire"..One his best solos id say. I used Rolands GK2 pickup along with the VG99 to get my closest to his tone. Hope you enjoy it!!

After hitting the studio in March 2010 to polish a new sound, Black Tea House knew the direction they were headed in.
Brian Chapman created the Melbourne band, Black Tea House to bring to life the contemporary pop, indie and alternative rock tracks that have been influenced by the sounds of Jet, Live, Radiohead and Crowded House.
Brian fronts the band with vocals and rhythm guitar and pencils all the tunes, a lead guitarist, keyboardist, bass player and drummer make the five piece line up.
Brian has shared the stage with the likes of The Living End, Screaming Jets, The Angels, Superjesus, Hoodoo Gurus, Taxiride, Joel Turner, Russell Morris, TMG, Billy Thorpe and Mental as Anything and many more. All influenced and all responsible for growing the musician.
The band is new to the scene. Although have been playing around the traps as individuals, 2010 is geared for exciting times ahead.
You will be hearing and seeing this band in a venue or festival near you soon.

Well i started off listening to classic rock when i was a kid. Then i moved on to bands like MSG, Guns N Roses, Def Leppard. I started play guitar when i was about 13 years of age copying bands like MLTR, Def Leppard, Lynyrd Skynyrd....A few years into the future i moved into players like Joe Satriani, John Petrucci, Steve Vai, Andy Timmons and other influential bands like Dream Theater etc etc...
