Naina Thag Lenge Tune Naina Thag Lenge Tune
Classic song from the film Omkara. Rahat Fateh Ali Khan sings it in full form. Sameer tries to attempt the tune as a solo guitar piece. Recorded on his home computer. Do try to listen!

Fox Trot Fox Trot
A British styled dance inspiration. Completely original from Varun. What a nice musical piece. You will love to listen to it.

Losing My Religion (R.E.M.) Losing My Religion (R.E.M.)
This an amazing song by R.E.M. attempted by Sameer. This song won the Grammy award in 1991 as the best pop song.

Jaane Jaa Jaane Jaa
Song from 'Jaawani Diwaani' sung by the greats Kishore Da and Asha ji. Played with open chords; hence the song is different than the original. Rec on Sam's computer mic.

Welcome to Jaane Jaa. Sameer and Varun are the only performers currently. Our dream is to make this into a professional band and start an academy of our own. Its too much of a leap since its been less than 6 months since we started playing guitar. All ends well when it begins well. Dont forget to listen to some of your favorites. Thanks for visiting!
Band/artist history
Started in 2007 by Sameer n Varun. They held the guitar in their hands for the 1st time in the late part of 2006; hence it will be some years before this band makes a mark of its own.
Have you performed in front of an audience?
Sameer has played only once in his life in a New York Cafe. Was really special. He isnt afraid to play in front of a million people though. He learns guitar at the NYC Guitar School in Manhattan, NY.
Varun is learning to play at the Institute of Modern Music, Pune. He hasnt played live yet but is eagerly looking forward to his 1st live appearance.
Your musical influences
Johnny Cash & Bob Dylan are my favs!
What equipment do you use?
A Yamaha acoustic guitar. Looking to buy a nice recording equipment though.
Anything else?
You need passion to learn any form of music. A guitar is no different. In a short amount of time, you can rock a lot of songs. Just on the shore, see an ocean to cross.
