Deep in the heart of the midwest where the souls of jazz, bluegrass, country and under ground rap meet, is the Iron molding for hard, true Rock. In a city scared of its heritage that it beleives it was built on jazz, beats the heart of the never dying love for fasts riff, heavy beats and melodic solos. The Davenport Underground Music scene is full of up and coming bands, like the Psyco funk metal band What i did while you where sleeping and the melodic Marianus, and even the Punk band The Clique, which is where the story of In Theory Starts.
It all started with a simple joke but has changed the lives of Drew Jackson (vox), Mark Corry (guitar), AJ LisenBee (bass), and Roosivelt Smith (drums) forever. This hardcore quartet has had many name changes and been through many members before they finally got it right and are now working on their first album, 13:42.
Band/artist history
The band has been around for about 3 or 4 years. There's been several name changes and member changes. The bassist and lead guitarist have been with the band since the very beginning. the drummer has kinda come and gone. The drummer we have now was the first drummer for the band but there was a couple other in between him. And our current lead singer was actually working security at one of our shows but we had known him for years.
Have you performed in front of an audience?
Yes we do. A few places in East Central Iowa. A few Battle of the Bands.
