We are a rock band....please read on.Band/artist history
In The Attic began in the same fashion most bands do.....a couple of friends sitting around playing guitar bored with their surroundings and dreaming of something better. Insert the age old catch phrase: "Hey lets start a band." add a few more friends and In The Attic is born.
It was the summer of 2002 when Ben and Chris decided that the songs they had been writing needed to be more rounded out by a full band, they asked their friends Ryan, Duane, and Shand if they were interested in joining the band and once they were on board the fivesome started hashing out edgier and heavier versions of Chris and Ben's acoustic jams.
About mid-October of 2003 the group decided it was time to record a demo. After selecting the songs best represented the band they entered the studio. It wasn't soon after recording that their demo made it's way into the hands of Danny Craig(drummer of Default) who then asked if the band would like to work with him as the producer, on their first record.
Since this time the band have been writing and reworking songs with Danny and playing as many shows as possible, such as a nearly sold out benefit show for the Children's Wish Foundation at the Iron Horse in Edmonton, AB. Sampling songs to crowds and preparing for the ever important first CD in upcoming months.Have you performed in front of an audience?swan hills....and calgary.....mostly alberta

This band is going places....they will stop at nothing...they are sick and tired with everyday turmoil due to working jobs they hate to pay for a delapitated apartment and sh***ty Kraft Dinner. Watch out and pay attention, because they want to take the whole world with them. I know this because I am the lead singer. WOOO HOOOOO GO PERKINS!!!!
