Band/artist history
I started this as a hobby i.e. making beats for fun on Playstation games like Music Maker, E Jay, etc. Later on in life I came across FL Studio and the rest is history. With plenty of experience I am dedicated to a minimum output so I can continue to expand my production skills and keep my catalog swelling with new material. I am eager to work with all artists that appreciate my sound so if you like what you hear on this site get at me!
Have you performed in front of an audience?
All tracks are studio based, but my background in music goes all the way back to elementary school when I played the violin and piano. As I grew older I was intrigued by the electric and acoustic guitar which I always played by ear. That is what has nutured my appreciation for rhythm.
Your musical influences
I listen to many different genres, Rock, Jazz, the funkier the better. I'm more like a student of the game though since 1996, around when 2pac died, I think that defines the time when I started to gravitate toward HipHop. So many acts that have blessed my CD player I dont know where to start. It was more like phases where I listened to just Wu, or Def jam, No Limit. I would like to thank artists like Talib Kweli, Common, Kanye West, The Roots, and Outkast for showing me what real hiphop is. I'm not saying I wasn't at Best Buy like every tuesday getting whatever was new and hot at the time, but those are some of the stand-out acts that gave me the inspiration and courage to go for it, you know really chase this dream. I still stay pretty current, but mainstream hiphop is struggling these days I have been dissapointed more and more recently but thats another story.
What equipment do you use?
FL Studio 7 XXL Producer Edition, FL8, Edison, Yamaha DGX-505, and HP desktop PC
Anything else?
I want to thank anyone taking the time to read this stuff, okay peace!
