Infinitropolis
Tribal beats, funk-african bass, techno + house grooves, and lots of Juno!
Producer Ted Carp meets singer Christy Gleason while giving an autistic boy a bath! The music is just as warped, blending techno and house beats with gospel and a touch of world music. We just wanna say, "hey--it's ok to worship the Creator of the Universe!" And to do it with energy!
Ted and Christy met in 98 working at a home taking care of a teenage boy with autism. They soon realized their musical and spirirual similarities and got together to record "Jehovah Jireh." Soon they put together a live set of worship songs with DJ Servo and brought the show along. More recordings followed, in between Ted Carp's mission trip to Israel and DJ Servo's mission trips to Brazil and New York. The memebers of Infinitropolis occasionally get together to record, Ted Carp engineers and produces the final product.
We're mostly a studio band but we've played live just to try new stuff with the people.
Dance style stompin techno with house and gospel flavors, lots of kick with female vocals and/or samples, some funk influence with live bass.
