Drunk To F Drunk To F***
**The updated version** A fast attack of grunge, distorted guitar, rhytmic bassline and machine gun drums with strong vocals. The first Inertia song.
Thousands of Notes Thousands of Notes
**updated version** A free-flowing, abrasive, sludgy, anger-filled song triggered mainly by a heart-break. A random barrage of lyrics, and loud screaming vocals.
Milkman Milkman
One of our fast, weird original songs. We'd never performed it before until this night at the Tunbridge Wells Forum so it was a bit spontanious.
Audio Terrorism Audio Terrorism
A chilled-out song; Inertia at their least heavy, this song was conceived in the Bromley Civic Centre when Toose suggested it.
Suicide Suicide
Song written about the desperity one can feel when in the spiral of depression, and how hard life is when suicide is in the back of your mind.

We are Inertia, a 4-piece dirge rock/pink-noise band from South East London. Luke Tomkins is the vocalist/guitarist, Matt Jennings is the bassist, Toose Kreichgauer is the lead guitarist/noise artist and Dave Williams is the drummer extroadinaire-billen.Band/artist history
The band began early 2003, when Luke and Dave met for the first time and jammed. Thoroughly satisfied with the jam, they decided to make a 2-piece band named "Endorphin". Later that year, after much practice and song writing, Endorphin played it's first gig at Luke's 16th birthday party, in a battle of the bands against local punks "Time For Nothing". Endorphin entertained the crowd, consisting of friends, associates and well-wishers, and won the battle.
After the party, Endorphin decided to invest in a bassist, and Laurence was to fill that place. Endorphin played its second gig at Kelsey Park's monthly Music Festival, and took the audience by storm with blazing cover versions of "In Bloom", "Verse Chorus Verse" and "With Arms Wide Open" [for certain members of the audience]. Endorphin played a third and forth gig at Kelsey Park for Christmas 2003. Endorphin played a number of party gigs, and encorporated the help of Max, from Time For Nothing, as a rhythm guitarist, but due to a majority vote from the band, was forceably removed.
Endorphin played its last gig with Laurence in the line-up on Valentine's Day, but due to Laurence being on holiday at the time, had the stand in talents of Matt to fill the shoes of Laurence. The 14th of February 2004 was undeniably Endorphin's biggest gig to date with an audience of 200 people. It was also their best gig to date, playing the songs "Drunk to F**k", "Sheep", "For The Girl On Bass" and "Confessions Of An Addict" written by them, and shocking the audience with Luke's tortured vocals to Nirvana's "You Know You're Right" followed by the destruction of Luke's first guitar. Endorphin were voted the "Best Band" of the night.
This was a key night in Endorphin history; Matt seemed to gel with the band really well. Due to unforseen circumstances, Laurence was fired from the band, and Matt was asked to take his place in the line-up. The next gig was but a week away, an even more important venue with one of the biggest names in the Bromley underground rock scene, "My Silence". The night went amazingly well, apart from the sabotage of Luke's guitar and the effects pedal, but the grungers carried on to give the ultimate performance of Endorphin. Comments from fellow grungers, "Grandpa Snail" included: "They had the phattest pit, man!"
From this gig onwards, Endorphin was known as "Inertia", due to a signed band named Endorphin releasing a single. Inertia began work on new material, and Luke wrote 5 more songs, including "Thousands Of Notes Played In Overtime", "Incarnadine" and "Whatdya Expect?". We are currently working on our new E.P which will be titled "Thousands Of Notes Played In Overtime".
We played a few more gigs, and went on a 3 month hiatus, within those 3 months started a war between emo and grunge. We employed Toose to handle rhythm guitar duties for the band, as we decided it was time we solidified the already stable foundations of the band.
Inertia has 2 goals: world domination, and making guitars/drums/amps scream for mercy. Inertia sees the underground scene to be once again, becoming repetitive and more accessible to big league corporate-fuck major record labels. But we can't be assed to change that - all we want is to sell-out as much as possible so we can get high and have sex with many groupies.Have you performed in front of an audience? We play at any gigs we're offered, mainly organised at schools, church halls etc. We have played at various parties, and a Valentine's Day gig. We love playing any gigs, and we look forward to bigger venues and larger audiences. Maybe one day we'll be playing at a children's party near you.
