immij (pronounced “image”) is a four part R&B female singing group based out of San Francisco, California. Since immij began in 2000, the four ladies have quickly gained recognition through various performances at high schools, colleges, clubs, festivals, and special events. Their fan base has consistently grown throughout the West Coast and now emerging in the East Coast. Immij is catching audiences with their powerful performance set, and with features through different interviews in the media, the buzz on this California group is no longer local. With their debut album entitled “Destined” released, it won’t be long when Doris, Kris, Lyn and Mei share their music with the rest of the world.
immij’s sisterly bond and love for the Lord first brought these four ladies together. Doris and Kris, as sisters, and Lyn and Mei, as cousins, met as young kids in their very first church choir. Little did they know that what they started would become what is now immij.
With each member having the ability to sing, dance, play different instruments, and write their own songs, immij has been able to come together with different producers, to release their debut album “Destined”. With a growing amount of performances, a fan base, and exposure, the decision to launch their own independent record label was evident and everything fell into place.
immij strives to pave the way for the Asian American community through music. immij not only hopes to bring communities together, but breakthrough into the mainstream music industry.
