IMiJ was born and raised in the city of Fredericton, NB , lived near the city Ottawa for 3 years then the city of Amsterdam for a year, Halifax for 6 and now resides in Fredericton NB, Canada, traveling The Eastcoast and working with rappers and producers from all over North America. IMiJ started freestyling at the young age of 15 and started recording at 16. What he was recording wasn’t inspiring enough to continue , so he’d freestyle at parties and with friends. When IMiJ turned 21 back in December, 2007 he found that special sound that inspired him. Mixing beats and producing songs was what he really loved to do. Now he’s writing, freestyling, mixing beats, recording and producing! It’s a musician’s dream deal. IMiJ’s sound evolved through collaborations with other artists, staying open minded to other artists style and being very confident of his own unique sound at the same time. “I think my flow, style voice is unique. I don’t sound like every other rapper out there, I sound like me and only me. I’m me and I do all my shit 100% me.”Your musical influences
