Images Of Eden is an extremely intense heavy rock/ progressive-metal band with a technical yet melodic edge. They combine explosive music and powerful vocals with lyrics that are extremely passionate and true to life. The band features top-notch musicianship and definitely stands out among other bands today. If you like your music heavy with intense, driving energy from beginning to end, and full of originality, then you must check out the band that is far beyond the rest with a sound you'll never forget- Images of Eden!!!Band/artist history
Concept of "Eden" was originated in fall of 1998 by Gordon Tittsworth. Gordon had been in and out of bands over the years and could never seem to find musicians who shared the same dream and passion that he had for music so he finally accepted the cynical but very true belief of "If you want something done right do it yourself." In September of 1999, he went into the studio with a session drummer to record the self-titled CD, IMAGES OF EDEN. He would now be able to fully express his creativity without any restrictions and finally bring "the vision" to life. The goal was to fully produce a CD with his own original material, design the artwork, and play all of the instruments himself (except for the drums). This final product would then be used to carefully select musicians to complete the full time line-up.
Once the CD was complete, the search for musicians began. Images had gone through several members and had auditioned even many more before finally deciding on the final line-up. The full time line-up now consists of Gordon Tittsworth (Lead Vocals, Bass Guitar & Keyboards), Dennis Mullin (Lead Guitar), and Matt Kaiser (Drums).
Over the last 16 months, they have gained local recognition by clubs and entertainment agencies as well as winning a local Battle of the Bands contest. The caliber and talent of the musicians Gordon found to complete the band is much greater than he had ever anticipated. They have added (and are continuing to add) much more life and dimension to the songs that had been written for the debut CD and have enhanced the live sound greatly. Currently Images Of Eden is finishing up new material for their 2nd full-length CD, titled Sunlight Of The Spirit which should be released later this summer (2004).Have you performed in front of an audience? We have been playing out in the Baltimore/ Washington area and occasionally go into PA. Playing live is the ultimate in self-expression. Special moment would be winning a "Battle of the Bands" in Baltimore, MD.
