On his 23rd year of life, Illy Wonka is focused on keeping his music cutting edge, original, street credited, appealing & powerful. He’s been reigning his craft for almost 10 years; he’s also a well rounded & seasoned producer/writer with a distinct sound of his own. From starting out recording tapes on Karaoke machines in the mid/late 90's, Illy Wonka clearly understands that it takes blood, sweat, & tears to put out product that will stand out under its own artistic value in multiple markets. He’s no stranger to the stage as he delivers an emotional up front live show with his trademark boogies. He’s performed in front of as little as seven people, to as many as a few thousand. Illy Wonka understands the importance of exposure, relationships, & humbleness in the entertainment field. He’s a seasoned performing/recording artist with a good start to a promising career with a respectable performance history. Illy Wonka was also featured in Murder Dog Magazine (May, 2004 Soulja Slim issue), listed as an artist appearing on K- Lee’s double disc LP. In 2000, Illy Wonka & Stevel Bay Bay recorded a full length album and released it in the streets, creating a buzz that got them airplay on the major FM radio station in Seattle, WA. And radio spins in Indiana, New York, California, Tennessee & Alabama. He’s also received local broadcasting exposure on local public access shows in Seattle, WA & Memphis, TN. His popularity is growing rapidly in his city, region, & beyond, after officially releasing his 1st solo album entitled “Seattle Rain The Dirty Version”.
