Illyjackz are Abe "A-Beatz" Delgado & Yobalni "Hazi" Puello. They got together many years ago and started creating soulful but rugged Hip-Hop & R-n-B beats. With combined musical backgrounds and interests in Funk, Soul, Merengue, Salsa, House, Rock, Reggaeton, and classic Spanish R-n-B, Hazi and A-Beatz creations were influenced by many genres. A-Beatz says "It's so important to be open-minded to all different types of music. When you create beats like we do, it really does come out in the music you make".
Illyjackz credit many artists in ultimately inspiring and shaping the Illyjackz "sound". Nowadays you can look through their vast combined vinyl collection and find classic albums from iconic artists like Jimmy Hendrix, Julio Iglesias, La Lupe, Herb Alpert, Santana, Nina Simone, Public Enemy, The Jimmy Castor Bunch, RUN DMC and many more.
