Illyjackz are Abe "A-Beatz" Delgado & Yobalni "Hazi" Puello. They got together many years ago and started creating soulful but rugged Hip-Hop & R-n-B beats. With combined musical backgrounds and interests in Funk, Soul, Merengue, Salsa, House, Rock, Reggaeton, and classic Spanish R-n-B, Hazi and A-Beatz creations were influenced by many genres. A-Beatz says "It's so important to be open-minded to all different types of music. When you create beats like we do, it really does come out in the music you make". Illyjackz credit many artists in ultimately inspiring and shaping the Illyjackz "sound". Nowadays you can look through their vast combined vinyl collection and find classic albums from iconic artists like Jimmy Hendrix, Julio Iglesias, La Lupe, Herb Alpert, Santana, Nina Simone, Public Enemy, The Jimmy Castor Bunch, RUN DMC and many more. Together theyâve produced various released tracks including "Holla at the Kid" a song on independent Hip-Hop artist Rone's mix-tape which ended up moving roughly 6000 copies. They also co-produced Universal Latino artist Krook Rock's song "All Night Long" and also provided 3 tracks for Krooksâ "Beats Mix-Tape" which to date has moved about 2500 copies. Currently Illyjackz continue to work on various Hip-Hop projects and produced the song "Monday Morning" off of JISE's (Formerly of the Arsonists) album CHRONICLES 2 released in early 2010.
