Double-you Tea Eff Double-you Tea Eff

A weird, really disturbing track of noise.

Bugmuck Bugmuck

Just a simple 38 seconds long noise-track. I was bored one day, and managed to put this together.

Deformation Deformation

An ambient track, the first one made in Cubase SE3. I just played around with some reverbs and other effects to see how it really works.

Ambient

Prostitute Horses Prostitute Horses

This track is made only with Audacitys tone- and white noise generator.

Meaningless Meaningless

The noise is taken from a crappy radio while I was tuning the radio frequence and touching the volume knob, which makes a sparkling noise. Lyrics from the bible. Made with nothing but Audacity. Download instead of streaming.

Noise

I would not considere iHz as a band. More like a musical artist. A band, by my opinion is a group of members playing instruments together. Enough with that. My name is Johan aka iHz. I started producing noise in september 2005. Well, it is september 2005 now, so I'm pretty new to it. I've had my eyes for noise for a while now. It all started with Khonnor. But he is much more melodic than me. I produce something called harsh noise. That's mostly pure white noise, scratches, overtoned sounds, buzzes, fuzzes, screams, radiobuzz and other weird sounds. I wouldn't consider it music, because ordinary, easy-listened music is based on tones with even space between the peaks in the soundwave. Noise and din is based on soundwaves with uneven space between the peaks in it. And the musical genre noise is based upon just that. That's why I say: "This isn't music, this is noise..."
Band/artist history
Nothing much at all, just getting started making some band history! :D
Have you performed in front of an audience?
Nope, not yet. Still got a long way to go!
Your musical influences
Artists/Bands: Khonnor, Infected Mushroom, Stimbox, Xdugef, Villa Valley, Necroanal, The Chemical Brothers, Andreas Tilliander, Tralphaz, Phroq, Kraftwerk, etc. Stuff: Radios, Babies crying, Environmental sounds, screams, and other shit.
What equipment do you use?
Just mum's ol' laptop, Audacity, a crappy (because of that great) radio, harman/kardon HK-06TA speakers, JVC HA-D95 headphones, the built in mic in the computer and nothing but Audacity as recording software.
Anything else?
I'm totally into circuit-bending. Circuit-bent instruments comin' up! :D
