smiling is brilliant! i like the fact that it's grungy in the good way, rather than in the bad way. :) it's a shame people don't seem to make bands like this much anymore.

What's up dudes? I saw a reply you made on one of the critic's threads which prompted my curiosity in your tune. I just listened to If Robin Dies. Now, I don't generally listen to this type of music, however, I believe I am qualified to make an unbiased judgement. (whatever that means) I think your music stimulates real emotion and that is ALL that matters. I don't care what style you're into, if you can generate emotions in the listener, you're going above and beyond most musicians in the world, and definitely on this site. Too many people tell me: "work on your vocals, keep trying." I say f*** that and f*** you, If I was going for great vocals, I'd try out for American Idol. I don't care about perfection, I care about soul. Great f***ing job guys, keep the soul going!!!

had a listen to your stuff. I think your description of yourself as 'a weird punk/grunge band' is way off. or at least the 'weird' part...it's fairly conventional indie-rock stuff, but just played in a sloppy way. I don't mean that as an insult, as I quite like sloppy.
there's a lot of potential here - 'clyde's song' is particularly good in an epic sonic youth/mogwai-ish sort of way (although I'd have liked to hear it develop into something huge and terrifying).
but I reckon you've got to decide whether you're going to tighten up your sound, which would do it wonders, or deliberately increase the discord, naive bum notes and loose approach to timing. either way, this could be really good stuff, but it's not quite there yet.
