"Who's that we are listening to?". The response was "Eazy-E, the name of the song is Real Mothafuckin' X-Mas". With that question and answer Homemade was introduced into hip-hop. His love for Eazy-E's music led him to hear others in the same genre. Although he was 9 years old when he became interested and did not even understand half of the jive N.W.A was spitting, he loved the rhythm. Its good he started out listening to the old school. He began rapping early 2000. He was just 10 years old. Although he was the only one doing it in his grade, he never found himself unique. When he hit middle school, many other kids tried and failed. Homemade began battling his way up. By 7th grade he had won awards for poetry. By the end of middle school he had defeated high schoolers and he had a record of 20 wins and 0 losses. When people looked at Homemade's baby face and his short physique, they laughed and said "how can YOU be a rapper?" Their jaw would be dropped in a matter of seconds. By the end of 9th grade, his battling record became 24-1. Homemade realized that he did not win nor lose anything from battling. Now in 12th grade he is CEO of Nervous System Records. He is getting his name around local radio stations, and is on the grind 24-7. He will not stop until he gets the fame he deserves. Only 17 years young and already better than most veterans. He believes it is written in the stars, and he won't stop until the prophesy is fulfilled.
I have. At local spots. Open mics, I've opened for people, clubs, and bars.
My influences are others that are on their grind. Those who make art, those who bring originality to the mic, life experiences, my feelings, drugs, and I definitely cannot forget the females.
