May The Hush Be With You
Scott Dacey has recently formed a new alias as Hush Cat since becoming more involved with the production of house. His styles vary largely and it was decided that keeping styles and especially different genres under separate names would be beneficial and easier to accociate a style with.
Scott has been under the alias of D.J. Solstice or DJ Solstice (who is also on soundclick @ www.soundclick.com/djsolstice)for several years, producing an array of styles. He has released several tracks for Rob EC as D.J. Solstice. It was only since his development of a label called Hush Recordz that the name appeared. Hush is also a cat created especially for the name and label. You can see it in the logo.
Scott also produces under another name known as 5am which is a production company fully entitled 5am Productions formed by himself and Kemistry. He has been involved with Skibbadee, Shaka, Carly Bond, Jason X, Rico G, Ken, Sound Bwoy, Styla-G, Shakti, Suby Cheng, J.T., Dexter and many more names, producing urban music. He has also recently begun working on house music under other artists for other artists.
The first finished song under Hush Cat is a progressive house remix for x-press 2's new single release Kill100.
Expect more releases in the near future.
