Band/artist history
honeymoonhill was formed in 2013. The style of music has always been heavily electronic based, but has changed in flavour from jazz/funk to more dance based music.
Have you performed in front of an audience?
Honeymoonhill has played several gigs at UK Festivals and small clubs. This was to test the equipment and the material. The players play with other bands regularly playing all different kinds of music
What equipment do you use?
To record anything goes: I utilise samples of my own or freely available and I play in a lot of my sounds and loops. I also enjoy using effects created by using effects designed for something else: like a pitch shift, usually used to fill in missing notes, but in my music often used to create odd harmonies, or to distort the original sound. Onstage the main equipment is an iPad running software that creates the groove based music, with two mikes, one attached to a looper/effects pedal. This is in turn also connected to a dulcimer and pickup. We have a mixer onstage. On a live show,
