PJ Harvey, Tori Amos, The Cure, Depeche Mode, The Smiths. More recent influences include Sleater Kinney, the Yeah Yeah Yeahs, Black Rebel Motrcycle Club, etc. I don't sound like any of them, though.What equipment do you use?

I'm Jyrki from Helsinki, george is my 'english name' :) I listened to your song just by accident when comparing the differences between each genre here. The name of yours made the first influence on me, of course, but your song was very amusing, you have a beautiful voice and did a nice melody.
My wife uploaded two pop songs three days ago (at soundclick.com/quaint) and they are doing pretty well (#156 at pop chart and #36 at pop rock.
We are getting more familiar to the system here by visiting different artists and chat & other forums.
