My name is Gideon A-A, Im an up and coming musician, also known as Heatflow.
Im an: Emcee/Rapper, Singer, Producer and Songwriter, hailing from Glasgow. Originally Im from Ghana, in west Africa.
I engage into different types of genres & styles. Being originally from Ghana, I have been very much influenced by my traditional music & various types of African music. Also growing up in the ...Church has exposed me to different styles of music and genres.
From a young age I have had an ear for music, from listening to others play and record in my uncles home studio and listening to others sing in church. My parents played a lot of West African influenced style of Gospel music i.e. highlife. I have always loved music and have and will use it to express my self, my faith, encourage, rebuke and correct in whatever circumstances its needed.
I can remember from when I was around 8 or 9, listening and watching music videos by Michael Jackson late in the evening.
I have had the privilege to travel the world, and being influenced by the good and bad.
I have lived in Botswana , growing up and going to school there. I was there with my family, for four years until the age of 11. Growing in southern Africa, had an early influence in my music, listening to artist such as Brenda fasie, and listening to traditional music, in and around Botswana.
My early teenage years, is when Im sure I was more exposed to Western music more i.e. Rap, Rock, R&B, Acoustic, Trance, Classical, Blues etc
I love music in general and Im very much an adventurous person with my music.
Im a member of the British urban collective.
Lastly I have interest in film and comedy. Chai!Have you performed in front of an audience?Yes, I play live whenever and wherever I can, I don't really have a particular place or venue,I enjoy performing in most.

My musical influences varies. I listen to a wide range of genres e.g. Jazz, Highlife, Classical, Trance, Gospel, etc
I have been and are influenced by artists such as, Flame, Shai Linne, Don Moen, Micheal Jackson, Corey Red, Cece Winans, Marvin Winans, Chamillionaire etc.What equipment do you use?
I use various equipment, Protools, Fruity Loops, Logic Pro 8, Ableton Live , anything I can get my hands on, are of use to me and I'm comfortable with. I like trying new things, like I do with my music.Anything else?
