Your musical influences
you asked for it.. although I believe that the most impact on my musical influences were some intense relationships.. well, more the leftovers/breakups..
I was always interested in music.. in the 70s I listened to Neil Diamond, Cat Stevens, Bob Seeger...
In the 80s I probably had the most versatile musical influence.. luckily I didn't hear too much of "Neue deutsche Welle", while I was in the US for 2 years and listened to a lot of country (Eddie Rabitt, Dolly Parton, Kenny Rogers, Oak Ridge Boys, Ronnie Milsap,..)
Returning to Germany I was influenced by the new pop-aera which started with Duran Duran, Frankie goes to Hollywood,..
The next time I was in the US I heard Bands like Poison, Guns n Roses, Def Leppard, Van Halen,...
When talking about Guitar-Players, I must admit that I listen to all the greatest.. so here's just a short list..
