What's The Plan? What's The Plan?

Instrumentation: acoustic and electric guitar rhythms and leads, bass, drums, Hammond B3 organ, harmonica. Strong song with a feel of mystique, and notes the clusterfunk of the planet.

Country General

I'm a songwriter and ex-solo club performer. I decided to record a few of my tunes, so I called in some friends. I do lead and harmony vocals, lead, rhythm, and bass guitar. Chick plays all the keyboards (piano, organ, synthy). Ernie Lebeau does an underlying rhythm guitar track on 'Down South', and also does drum tracks on 3 songs. Larry Snider does the lead guitar on 'Everytime You Look at Me', Kelly Craven plays drums on it, and Scrappy Proctor sings harmony.
Band/artist history
I got a guitar in high school, learned 3 chords, and started my first band. Paid my way through college, had a lapse of performing for 10 years, but then resurrected as a solo act doing all original music, except for a few stylized covers. I did small clubs such as the Cellar Door in D.C. and was lucky enough to have opened shows around the southeast for JJ Cale, John Hiatt, John Prine, Hank Williams Jr, Link Wray, Hazel Dickens, Dolly Parton, Juice Newton, Emmylou Harris, David Allan Coe, Wille Nelson and a host of others. Got out of the business, as such, about 10 years ago. I now play around on the computer with it. You can check out all my creative endeavors on the net at hleproductions.com
