Riding solo after co-founding and playing with The Turkies Dunn for a number of years. I'm currently looking for musicians to play/colaborate with (ie Bass, Lead guitar, Fiddle or Slide Guitar, Harp etc.)see contact for more info.Have you performed in front of an audience?Currently living and playing in Southern Il, REALLY southern! Your musical influences
I love Johnny, Jimmy, Hank, Kris,the Louvin Bros. and even some truckin' favorites.(AS well as Jim, Jack and Old Grandad) Influences are too many to list, but a simple song with a good story (or at least a good hook) and a good harmony are what I strive to attain.What equipment do you use?
Hardley Parton plays and collects Tenor Guitars ( 4-string rhythm guitars from the '30s-'40s) but occasionally pulls out a baritone Ukelele or his tenor banjo or BahzookiAnything else?

Just thought I would let you know that I finally put a new song on, A Train With My Name On It, blues style. I am trying out a new instrument, Cigar Box Guitar and Slide, so I played all the tracks with only cigar boxes. If you like blues, give it a listen and let me know what you think...

I just got news from John from Rochester New York and the place that I will be performing for the Live Benifit Concert will be November 11 2007 at The Main Street Armory in Rochester NY. Tickets will be on sale through ticket master some time next week. Please come out and support me. I can't wait to play my songs live. I will be performing my song "IN A BOX" playing piano and singing. It will be great. I am so looking forward to this. Thank you everyone for all your support. I will have FM radio play as well as tv coverage. So if you can get to Rochester New York support me & come to my show :)
