Wet Dream Wet Dream
This is a song, one of our best. Written by Dan Wallace, recorded at West 3rd Studios. Copyright Half Way There.

We are a 4-piece punk band from Hamilton, Ontario! We stared in May 2000 at a school talent show, and continued to be a band.
Band/artist history
It all started back in March of 2000. Dan Adam Dave and Brodie were all attending Viscount Montgomery middle school where every Friday during lunch students could showcase their talents in front of the whole school in an event called "Fabulous Fridays" (retarded eh?). After the 4 of them watched another band called Treachery play, Dave decided it would be cool(not rad..) to play a couple songs for this "Fabulous Friday" thing. Conveniently enough Brodie was sitting next to him and Dave told him of the idea. They asked Dan and Adam if they were interested and they were(Adam didn't want to because dan was singing haha). Dan and Brodie played guitar, Dave played Bass and Adam drummed. This wasn't to be a really permanent thing they just wanted to have some fun. So a few drum-less practices later they had managed to get two covered songs done. One was a Goldfinger tune and the other one shall go unmentioned. At one of the practices Dan proposed that if we like playing for the school we should stay together as a band. The others agreed as they were having fun with it anyways. But now the big question arose... "What are we gonna call our band?" Well Dan already had that covered. "Dude", he said, "How about HALF WAY THERE?" The others furrowed their brows and looked at him and said "Yeah that sounds good." Along came the day of the show. They played and they all liked it. Soon after they were playing their own shows and writing their own songs. After about a year of playing HWT decided to record all of their songs. They contacted Jeremy Widerman from the band Bayside (formerly The Binge now "Klesk") and he said he could record the tunes for them. They recorded 7 songs and sold them on a s/t CD only available through the band (If u have it, set it on fire), which sold out. After they dropped 5(soon to be 6) of those 7 songs because they were terrible. A year later after that they decided to record their newest songs with Jeremy again. It took 3 days for 3 songs at Jeremys house and the end result is far better than their previous recordings. Now a days Half Way There is much, MUCH better and is writing many new songs and booking shows.
