Half Glass Dry was a Filipino rock band formed in Fairview, Quezon City in January of 2008 by Rhythm Guitarist, Vocalist Jovan Baclig, Drummer Michael Manaois, Lead Guitarist Jojo & Former Bassist Alex Daigo. Half Glass Dry was one of the key bands in the creation of OPM grunge, a style of alternative rock that developed in Seattle and was based around the band's influences. Half Glass Dry didn’t receive commercial success, because they prefer to play the music they love rather than selling out to the current Filipino music scene.
Half Glass Dry received their first success when they complete their first three song demo entitled “Thanks for the Pain”. Right now the band is busy preparing materials for their upcoming independent debut.Have you performed in front of an audience?Yes, we play at bars & productions that supports indie music.
