My name is G. William Johnson. I am a guitarist and songwriter heavily influenced by classical and heavy metal music. My compositions are, naturally enough, mostly of a melodic metal genre, though they bear influences from many artists and styles.Your musical influences
My influence include, but are by no means limited to, Nightwish, Opeth, Dream Theater, Heavenly, Wintersun, Angra/ Kiko Loureiro, Children of Bodom, Metallica, Stratovarius, Tommy Emmanuel, Cat Stevens, Simon and Garfunkle, and many film scorers and classical composers.What equipment do you use?
My main guitar is an LTD M1000 with EMG 61 pickups and an original Floyd Rose vibrato system. I play through a Behringer Vamp PRO, or a Behringer GX210 60watt amplifier with Rocktron effects. Acoustic guitars include a Carvin Cobalt C350, Aria A55 classical, and an Ovation 12-string.Anything else?
