Band/artist history
I have been playing for about 30 years. I took 10 years off from starting in the mid 80s, and resumed my music,career in 1997. I have opened for numerous country and rock headliners. If you have watched the Grammys,or the CMA awards, you've seen people I've played with onstage. I am a guitarist. I play in a busy country rock band. The Saloonatics.
Have you performed in front of an audience?
I play 125 nights a year in Boise, Idaho and clubs and honkytonks.
Your musical influences
I love all the usuals, Vaughn, Johnson, Satriani, Vai, Morse, Howe, Paisley, Clapton, Urban, even Segovia and Michael Hedges. Check out Tommy Emmanuel and the amazing Andy Timmons. If they are good, I'll listen to them.
What equipment do you use?
Fender Custom Telecasers, Ibanez, Bolin, Gibson, Guild, Ovation, Mesa Lonestar Classic, SWR California Blond, LR Baggs and Fishman pickups. Celestion speakers and Roland digital recording equipment.
Anything else?
Turn it up. If the guitar is too loud, You're too old!!
