Green Balloons

We are Punk-Rock band formed in Krasnoyarsk - city in middle of Russia.

Play old/new school punk, fun & expressive.

Sings in English (we international) :).

Den, Blink (our previous bass guitar player) and I (Senia) formed Green Balloons in July of 2005, in Krasnoyarsk (Russia). No so long before this time, I and Blink left punk-band “Chips”, and want do Something! We hire Den (he play same time in two another projects), and get start GB. Our music and style formed under influences of Punk Bands (like Rancid, Blink 182, SUM 41, Good Charlotte), Old-school Rock Bands (like Beatles) and lot of different music styles (like Jazz or Drum&Bass, or mostly liked by Den). In during of first year we do more than 40 gigs (some big open air festivals, bit of touring), release our first singe “Bathroom Wall”, and prepare songs for upcoming record.

In end of October 2005, Blink left band, ant we take Lisitsin Oleg (also play in “Apple Pie”) to replace ‘em. When, in great mood, with fresh blood we start record first EP in December 2005.

Green Balloons Promo EP comes out 10.03.2006, and we think this record is best view on our music now.

This time we made a promotion gigs for our record, and try to find label (’s) to sign up

We play live as lot as we can (don't less than once per week).

Usually it happens in local Krasnoyarsk clubs, sometimes touring.

We really love to play live, its relly great&fun, the most reason why we start band.

A lot of punk bands, like: Rancid, Blink 182, Green Day, Pistols or anything else.

The Transplants - we really like :).

Lot of music in other styles from Pop til Drum&Bass, Jazz... Something.
