The Pinch is an early example of Gordons Alive playing. It was one of the first to be recorded.
Band/artist history
Gordons Alive are an Acid Funk Band, originating in the South West of England .
These four gifted Musicians have an exceptional grasp of many differing genres, which is all the more suprising when you take into concideration their youth.
Funk , jazz , Disco , and Rock, even to the more comtempary, such as Drum and Bass, are all played with a consumate skill, but are given that individual "Gordons Alive" sound .
While perfect for dancing, there is enough musical, and lyrical content, to satisfy even the most critical of listeners .
Listen to their c.d. releases, "Science Friction ", and the the more recent self produced " Salut Hockenmiem", and you can chart their growth as Song Writers, and Musicians, of the highest standards .
But it is at their Live Gigs that you can hear them at their very best .
They play with an energy, and enthusiasm that makes you come back for more .
