goodnight streetlight is my at-home musical project with help from friends over the internet. its been around for a couple of years now, making people sad and sleepy.
Band/artist history
goodnight streetlight made an album called 'mr. tinkerton's toy repair shop' but that isn't available anymore.
post-meltdown friend is goodnight streetlight's 2nd album. it is 69 minutes long, 14 tracks. was created in 2001, late winter to early spring, at home; casio keyboards, looping guitars, irratic beat patterns, pots and pan, whispery singing, faraway voices, etc. lots of green tea consumed, sleep lost.
although nothing has been started for the next album, its already being conceived. should bear stronger claws, stranger dreams.
Have you performed in front of an audience?
i've only played live once, doing live p.a. i got a great reaction from the crowd, despite many mistakes. they were swaying and rolling on the ground. it was a good time.
Your musical influences
aphex twin, dj shadow, coldcut, r.e.m., boards of canada, sparklehorse, stina nordenstam.
What equipment do you use?
a little toy casio keyboard and my guitar and drums and various found sounds.
Anything else?
you're so sweet for coming by.
Your music is very unique and different. keep it up man

Great stuff. Sounds a lot like Aphex Twin meets Akira Yamaoka. Brilliant. =)
