Gian was introduced to music at a young age. Forced to take piano lessons by his parents he would never know how much music would mean to his life. Growing up in high school Gian's love of music grew and he became a DJ playing at small house parties and school events. After high school he met a group of dj's and got involved in San Diego's underground electronic music scene. From there his dedication was apparent to all those he met. He spent countless hours perfecting his dj skills until finally he was able to produce a full length mix cd. "Bob's a loser" hit store shelfs in late 1997 and recieved rave reviews. Determined to get his music to the masses he embarked on a 7 day tour up and down the California coast dropping off cd's at any record store that would take them. He lived in his car during those days eating lunchables and mountain dew. Eventually his persistance payed off and gigs from other cities followed. He went to Salt Lake, Seattle, LA, Miami, Riverside, San Francisco, and Mexico just to name a few. He also started his own night club in San Diego and brought some of the people he met in other cities to his town. All the while his focus allways remained on production. He picked up pieces of equipment whenever he had extra cash, and soon incorporated live music into his dj sets. It wasn't soon after that he decided to get serious about production and retired from the world of dj'ing after 10 long years. Now he spends time trying to get that perfect snare, or compress that track just enough to give it a kick. It won't be long before he embarks on his next promotional road trip, pushing himself to the limits to get his music heard. So enjoy the small sample of whats to come here on soundclick, or find out more by clicking on the official band page web site. Gian is looking for you.
