Get Wet
Get Wet is an aggressive post-punk power pop band with major roots in late 60's soul shows, classic songwriting and in-your-face punk drive.
Band/artist history
Get Wet was born when Sherri Beachfront invited Zecca Esquibel (fresh fron touring Europe and recording with Cherry Vanilla (RCA London)) to watch her singing at a recording session at the legendary Electric Lady Studios in New York City. They fell in love, and the series of songs which he wrote for her, and became the album "Get Wet", is a chronical of their relationship.

How great to find Get Wet online! I bought the LP and played it endlessly, way back when it came out. I just listened to the music again here and it all came back just as fresh. Glad you both are still around! "Morton Street" is my favorite.
Sheri - I miss you! stay in touch if you can! Mindy
Ah, brings back memories of my youth. The wonderful, stylish, sensual Sherri fronting this talented band, and much kudos to Louie Lepore`s searing guitar playing.....
Is this the same GET WET that had "Where the Boys Are' up on the late great MP3.com? I enjoyed that song greatly. Listening to "Its You Its Me" and liking that too. DOn't really care for the "punk" type tunes, but your deliveries and production are first rate. Just thought I'd mention it.
Stop by if you care to, though the Laundry Room is nowhere near as polished as what you have.

I am having the toughest time trying to log into my own site to add some info. So what I have is a site that says I am Sherri Beachfront with a current picture and added GET WET as my favorite band! Crazy! I live in LA and I host a podcast for Here! Networks called STRAIGHT GIRL IN A QUEER WORLD. It's all good! http://heretv.com/APodcastDetailPage.php?id=23
