t is 1999 and rob has been on the road in europe street entertaining with his unique puppet show act, nights would be spent snuggled up in his 1968 commer camper van reading the latest music magazines. two things seemed to happening simutaniously that was tempting rob back into music... one was the internet, reading newspaper articles, websites were springing up online offering bands and musicians the chance to sell their music on the internet.. sites like peoplesound.com. they proclaimed no more need to be ripped off by record companies simply load your music on our site, we will allow people to download it for a price and we will take a small fee.. simple, now the unknown songwriters can make a living from their music. the other phenomenon occuring at this time was digital music technology... as explained, it was possible for bands to create studio radio quality recordings from home.
this was too tempting for rob who decided to give it another shot... after all things were different now. he returned to the uk, and rented a small cottage in northumberland right on the scottish border. it was quiet, very quiet.... stunning scenery, he continued with his street entertaing and puppet shows which give him a livable wage, but also most importantly.. it gave him time, the time to create music. he bought the latest sound gear and set up a small studio in a spare bedroom overlooking the cheviot hills and he began writing.Your musical influences
