Random sounds for a distorted mind, thumping bass and mutated noise through to industrial beeps and circuit bent madness.
At the end of 2003 I met "Soundscape Gardener" while temping after approx. 10 years of not seeing each other, we discovered our music tastes were very similar and as an experiment we played with some downloaded software, I mutated a kids toy drum machine and put together a few tracks. It sounded pretty good to us, so we put together the "Ghoul Detail" project including the webpage on soundclick.
After several months and personal commitments and problems we decided to go our seperate ways,
I took some of my work along to a local experimental music night, and to my shock the cd went down really well, everyone asked that I go back....but the next time I had to play live.
I had to find more arms to be able to do it and so Jon of Ghoul Detail was my first and only choice.
We played a few local experimental nights togeher and supported Katscan and Mechanical Cabaret at the "Soundhaus" venue.
GDR is now a solo project always open to help from anyone who's into industrial, noise and experimentation.
