I wrote my first song when I was ten years old (a little ditty called "San Francisco Holiday" which was written with a fellow school pal), got to 18/19 years old,was Managed and had all the usual promises of a record contract/publishing deal and super stardom. Got to a more mature age and I'm still playing live,writing,recording and still after that publishing deal!!Have you performed in front of an audience?Apart from writing I am also the Lead Singer/Rhythm Guitarist with Essex Blues Band "BLUEPRINT"
Your musical influences
,Very varied,and there are many,but to name a few- Elvis Presley,The Beatles (Paul McCartney especially), Jeff Lynne,Jim Croce,Eric Clapton,Roy Wood,love the Blues(everything from Robert Johnson to Stevie Ray)and the early Rockers - Buddy Holly,Chuck Berry,Eddie Cochran,Little Richard.And not forgetting the girls- Carol King I think is the greatest female writer of all time,Madonna greatest female performer.Sheryl Crow,Joss Stone and KT Tunstall are fantastic as well.What equipment do you use?
I use a Boss BR8 8 track Studio,a Zoom Dr Rhythm Drum Sequencer,I also have an array of guitars that I use for recording.The kitchen is the recording studio !Anything else?
