Band/artist history
While serving time in the Cherry Knowle Mental Institution we discovered a large chest under the floor while attempting yet another escape. The chest contained old manuscripts and ships logs belonging to the infamous pirate Capt. Jackie dated 1822. Also within the weathered chest were some original ship songs and shanties, which had been recorded on slate. After listening to these masterpieces on a makeshift Grammarphone using a discarded syringe and an auld baccy tin, whilst also enjoying the well fermented Jamaican weed that was still wrapped in sail cloth, we decided that we would thank the hapless Capt. Jackie by letting his name live on in his songs. We now tour the country when we are allowed, playing at asylums and care homes for old sailors.
Have you performed in front of an audience?
Only to the birds and the mad... Wherever they may be....
Your musical influences
It's all for the love of herb....
What equipment do you use?
Owt we can get our hands on! Boot sale stuff and things that we can borrow...
Anything else?
I've so many things to show them, and the bee's will all be there.... When the drugs start kicking in.....
