Welcome to the music of Galen Clavio - a hybrid of acoustic rock, folk, electric noodling, synthesizers, and whatever else strikes my fancy at the time of recording.Band/artist history
Started playing at age 14. Started writing songs shortly after, although about 90% of them sucked. Didn't get into serious home recording until I was 21. I've put together five "albums" since 2001. Most of the early stuff is demo-quality only.Have you performed in front of an audience?I've been playing live on and off (mostly off)for seven years or so. Haven't had any really special moments as of yet, but I'm sure they're just around the corner.
Your musical influences
Obvious influences on my music include Neil Young, the Rolling Stones, Wilco, The Beatles, Joao Gilberto, Caetano Veloso, The Black Crowes, and Steely Dan. I really love a mix of everything, and my own personal listening includes far more bands and artists than that.What equipment do you use?
