Galactic Anthems is a solo project. It's just me, my computer, my gear and my imagination.Band/artist history
Galactic Anthems has been a solo music project for the past decade. I've written tunes in a variety of styles, and plan in the future to release CD's from the "vaults", but I really love what is loosely called ambient electronic music and am concentrating on that style.Have you performed in front of an audience?Haven't played live in about 10 years. At that time I was playing in a two man electronic band called Atlas. We played a few gigs in the LA area for a couple of years. I don't have any plans for live performance at this time, but who knows in the future?
Your musical influences
I've been influenced by a lot of different music, from 20th century classical, to 60's and 70's progressive rock, to electronic music starting with Walter (now Wendy) Carlos and Tangerine Dream in the 70's.What equipment do you use?
PowerMac G5, Digital Performer, Reason, a variety of soft synths, and a variety of older hardware synths such as DX7, JX-8P, Proteus I and II, Matrix 6, and Emax.Anything else?
I was just named by Keyboard Magazine as the "Unsigned Artist of the Month" in the August 2007 issue.

That's a deep voyage into the minus-infinity of the abyss!
Very good job here, it really talks to us as a movie soundtrack! We don't know what's the story behind, but we imagine space colonists fighting for independence! Again, great space saga, with legendary elements of art rock and some progressive sounds. You deserve our 5 stars!!!
This is a whole voyage into the unknown...
More spatial than that... -- well, join the United Space Forces of 2045 ;-))) Great job, very expressive, and most of all universal. Godspeed!
Darkish, but very cinematic and spacey!!!
