Frank Bakken was born in Trondheim, Norway in 1970. He started his musical career early. Frank has played in several groups. He has played guitar, bass, and piano, but he prefer to sing. Through the years he has relased 10 cds and done a lot of gigs, mainly in Skandinavia. Frank is a well known singer/ songwriter in Skandinavia. He has written more than 600 songs and worked with a lot of great artists.Have you performed in front of an audience?I do not play as much now as I used to, but I love to play live and I have toured a lot with several bands. Special moments..hm..well I played on the roof of a ship once...it was in a danish harbour (Skagen) and there was about 2000 people in the audience it was just a great feeling to play outdoors...with the wind in my hair :-)
Your musical influences
My first big idol was Elvis Presley and I am still a big fan of him, but I have many influences. I like 80 thies rock and pop...bands such as A-ha, alphaville, Europe, Def leppard...its just to many to mention.What equipment do you use?
When I do my songwriting I use a Roland D-50, Cubase SX and a Les Paul..
