That they will, The Midas Touch is equally divided between reflective commentary, seductive mid tempos and club bangers providing a sharp focus on who Fortune is, as a performer, a man and a force to be reckoned with. The vibe is pure party with just enough sex to let you know that the kid does get down. The sound is trap meets east coast with just a hint of humor. The result is an intoxicating blend redefining Crunk as we know it.
The Brooklyn native being a product of an abused mother and alcoholic and drug addicted father was shuffled from one home to another spanning most of the southern to northern East coast from the age of 6 to 17 by the child welfare services agency but got a lucky break when he was scouted by Boss modeling agency and was shipped overseas to Europe, Germany and the Netherlands for designers who wanted his powerful stance and sharp looks in fashion and print campaigns. Fortune was also the International poster boy for Calvin Klein Jeans when the designer debuted in Africa and helped the stellar rise of Channel O Music Television to the number one most watched show in South Africa as the top host.
He came back to the states to get his GED and attended a business college where he received his Masters degree in finance and business management which help build Glacia Records & Entertainment; his dream company.Band/artist history

Some say hes the forked tongue of rap; creating both Dirty South & East Coast anthems. Before his breakthrough, he ghost-wrote songs for other rap & R&B artists but remained largely an unknown. His stellar rise started with publishing & management companies taking an interest in his ability to write anthems, which were characterized by their catchy hooks and singsong lyrics. Couple this with his knack for punch lines, story telling ability and nuclear charged performances Fortune could very well be the turning point in rap, a different breed of mega-star. Highly sought-after by record labels that held good, old-fashioned bidding wars in his honor, Fortune started Glacia Records & Entertainment where he continued the process of writing, producing and recording the debut he finished in late 2005; THE MIDAS TOUCH. A creation showing signs of being both a critical and commercial monster a turbo charged ride that showcases Fortune in all his universal glory.
Born in New York to an abusive stepfather & broken home; the division of child welfare services took him away at the age of 6; moving him from one foster home to another spanning most of the eastern U.S. including but not limited too; LA, Alabama, DC, ATL, Chicago, Houston, the slums of Newark NJ and then finally NY where he finally calls home, then why the name Fortune? It was kind of a joke at the time. It started when I was a lil boy says Fortune, I would have to listen to all the different counselors telling me; there so many kids less fortunate than you, be glad your so fortunate I sure didnt feel like it at the time but the name stuck. He first earned his stripes while writing for former Giant Records recording group Jade. Also, little known to the public; Fortune was chosen as the International poster boy for Calvin Klein Jeans Africa when the designer debuted in Capetown, South Africa. There he went on to host the countrys number one syndicated video music show; Channel O Music Television. He returned to the states and by chance met David Cintron; producer for Soul 4 Real and Shawnee who remixed the album & along with Fortune produced the sure fire smash hit; Attitude! The follow-up single to OOOH OOOH!! Hes turned out to be quite fortunate indeed.
