Alright, this is the short story about the Punk/Ska band The Fornicators.
The shit started out in -01, Spanarn and Tim were fed up on the local bands
and Swedish bands in general. There is just so much of "do li da pa pe lopa" a kid can handle.
So, to do something about it, they started to work on projects that Tim had been writing.
After trying out some drummers, they got hold of Kennbäck and asked if he wanted to join the band.
No bass player, no gigs, no fun. But inspite of that they recorded their first 7" named "Brat And Punk Division".
500 copies sold in a heartbeat. A bit later Hampus joined the band and the line-up and friendship were complete.
Gigs started to roll in and songs for lots of albums were already written, so
they recorded their second 7" "..And then there was punk"
More gigs within Sweden and even a little tour in Germany passed.
At the moment the band have recorded their first full-lengh "Ban Public Affection"
and have relased a live CD-R recorded in Berlin. So the conclusion is that this Swedish band is something to count on.Contact
