Heavy Metal

Thanks for checking out FLATLINE! We are a 3 piece metal band from Los Angeles. We have been playing and performing in L.A. and other southwestern U.S. areas since 2001. Jason - guitars & vocals, Tim - Drums & vocals, and Adam - bass & vocals round out this mix. A pure release of energy, Flatline is a mix of brutal thrash metal and driving full assault metal! We don't play Nu-Metal, so if that's your kick, we're not your kind of band. But if you like bands like Pantera, Slayer, Sepultura, Testament, and so on...... you will be most pleased..... STAY METAL!!! http://www.flatlinemetal.com
Band/artist history
Flatline was started by Jason and Tim in the summer of 2001 in North Hollywood, CA. Jason answered an ad for a band forming and needing a singer. When Tim heard that Jason played guitar, and then heard his style, he replaced the original guitarist. The guys played as a duo for a while when they were looking for a bassist, at which time they wrote a few songs and cut the first demo, "Salt the Wound". Finally, after trying out a few bass players, they decided to go with an old friend of Tim's. Adam was announced as the low end in January, 2002. That is when the songs that would become the "Redefining the end" CD were written. The band went in to record "Redefining" in January of 2003. When they were almost done with it, they decided to add another guitar to the mix. Unfortunately, due to a bad call, they let the lead guitarist go. "Redefining the End" was completed in June 2003 and has had a good response from fans. With a killer live show, pummeling riffs, and tear at the flesh vocals, this is a band to see. http://www.flatlinemetal.com
